The Scappoosse Drainage Improvement Company (SDIC) is directed by a group of volunteer board members. Each board member is either a member/landowner of the SDIC or serving on the behalf of a member. These individuals have stepped up to the task of directing an organization that serves a vital need to the local community. They have volunteered their time to serve an organization that is tasked with holding back the mighty Columbia River waters, protecting some of the most fertile agricultural lands in Oregon, and accommodate the adaptation of growth between rural, commercial, residential and industrial parties of Columbia County.
